Jubilee Jobs receives the  CSES Organization Leadership Award

On October 19, 2011 PI-GRO hosted a congressional briefing,

entitled, “The Power of Work: A Discussion on the Psychological Benefits of Work and the Impact of Joblessness on Individuals, Families and Communities.” This standing-room-only event featured an interdisciplinary panel which included:

Attending Orientation

Orientation for the Jubilee Jobs program is held on Monday mornings at The Festival Center, 1640 Columbia Road, NW, Washington, DC. It begins promptly at 9:00 am, ends at 10:30 am, and latecomers will be asked to return the following week. The discipline required to maintain a job is expected of our applicants the moment they enter the Jubilee Jobs program.

Job Friends

Following placement, Jubilee Jobs staff members know that continued contact and support is essential for success. Therefore, on the third Wednesday of every month, working applicants meet with counselors either in small groups at 8 am, 12 pm , held at our office, or at the 6 p.m. dinner program held at The Festival Center, 1640 Columbia Road, NW, Washington, DC.  The  dates for Job Friends  are February 15,  March 21 and April 18.
