To volunteer with us, we invite you to take the first step to join us at one of our Coffee Talk sessions OR Job Friends dinners. Coffee Talks are scheduled twice per month from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Job Friends dinners are held every third Wednesday of the month at the Festival Center – 1640 Columbia Road NW, Washington, DC 20009 from 6 pm – 7:30 p.m. Please contact the NW office to find out what days this month the Coffee Talks and Job Friends dinners are being held.
There are no specific requirements to volunteer, but attendance at one of these sessions along with a one-hour volunteer orientation are the first steps to getting you involved in our community- and needs-based organization.
When you volunteer with us, there is no time commitment, so you are free to arrange times that best fit your schedule. However, many of our regular volunteers perform activities for two to three hours per week. There are no dues or fees for participation – this is a completely free service!
We have volunteer programs for any individual over 18 years old. College students are welcome to apply for community service experience.
